Today in the lab we will work on gathering our sources and creating an annotated bilbliography. It is really easy to do.
Ultimately for our project you will need thirty sources. For now, we will concentrate on getting ten sources--two for each of the types I asked for. That is,
1. Print Sources
2. Video Sources
3. Audio Sources
4. Art/Photo Stills
5. Charts/Graphs/Timelines etc.
Your ten source annotated bilbliography is due next Monday December 15, 2008. It will count as a test grade. There will also be an incentive grade for anyone who turns it in on or before Friday December 12, 2008.
To cite the sources go to:
http://easybib.com/
go to click here to select a source and depending on what type of sources it is you will fill in as much of the information as you can find. You will also click "add annotation" and you will write a 2 to 4 sentence summary of the source.
You will then choose to have the final document coverted to a word document (it does it automatically) and like magic you have a works cited page.
See my sample that I created last night in under an hour. It is based on the life of Muhammad Ali.
