Topic/Theme : Propaganda and Persuasion: Immigration Reform

 

 

Essential Question(s):

 

What are the social conditions under which an individual realizes his or her full potential as a leader who is willing to take private action for the common good?

 

Key Questions:

 

·        What problem-solving strategies can individuals use to manage conflict and change?

·        How does an individual’s point of view affect the way they deal with conflict?

·        To what extent is civil disobedience a part of society?

 

Today in Class we begin in the classroom. We will get an overview of the weeklong unit on Immigration Reform and protest.

Then we will go to the computer lab to finish last week’s assessments.

 

Tuesday-Friday:

We will read poetry, literature, interviews about Immigration Reform. We will view clips from the film Walkout.
