AP World History

Capstone Project

The goal of your Capstone Project is to become an expert in a subject of your choice.  Everyone has picked a topic that you have been researching over the course of the year.  Your capstone presentation will be at the end of the school year and will be your opportunity to show off what you have learned as an APWH student.

Your capstone project consists of two parts:

  • A written component
  • a media component

The Written Component

The written component is an encyclopedia entry for our book: Baumann's APWH Encyclopedia of World History.

The instructions for the written component can be found here: Download Encylopedia Project 2011

The Media Component

The objective of the mesia component is to show off what you have learned about your topic in an intriguing way.

You may use the following programs for your presentation:

  • animoto.com
  • prezi.com
  • Windows Moviemaker
  • goanimate.com
  • Another program of your choice...just let me know beforehand

FYI: This project does count as the Final Exam grade for this class, do an AWESOME job!
