Band Boosters
The Booster organization
is of those individuals that support the Red Regiment in a variety of aspects.
There are no fees to join the booster organization and the entire program
benefits from support provided. Fundraising and chaperones as well as
organization and phone tree support are all needed to let the show go on.
There will be times when things arise and the answer may not be readily available. As our program expands and gains in notoriety, the situations in which we find ourselves may change. Being part of a group that is a work in progress is exciting and fatiguing, exhilarating and draining, but primarily satisfying; that being we contribute to the positive experiences of the students in the program.

Preside at all meetings of the organization
and perform all duties pertaining to the office. He/she shall, with the
approval of the Board and members, appoint all standing and special committees,
and he/she shall be an exofficio member of all committees.
Works on
creating revenue generating opportunities and helping secure fees from each
member of the Red Regiment. The Goal being to collect enough fees to match or
exceed the income side of the budget for the year.
Oversee all details involved with band events
including football games (home and away), band camp, concerts and all other
band performances. He/she will be
responsible for organizing chaperones, travel arrangements, hospitality and
other needs for all events. He/she
should oversee committees for chaperones, travel and hospitality.
Oversee all uniform needs and spirit wear sales for
the band program. These duties including
fitting students for uniforms, ordering uniform parts (i.e. shoes), cleaning
uniforms and distributing and collecting uniforms. He/she should oversee committees for uniforms
and spirit wear.

Oversee storage, organization, maintenance, and transportation of all band equipment including equipment truck.

Keep an accurate record of all the
proceedings of the organization and shall furnish the president copies of all
minutes. Conduct all correspondence of the organization as
directed by the president, issues notices of all meetings of the organization
and shall read all communication directed to the organization at its scheduled
meeting time. The secretary shall
oversee a committee for communications including website and phone tree.

Responsible
for paying all of the bills for the organization and maintaining an accurate checkbook.
Financial statements will be developed and provided at each booster meeting.
Will keep track of all receipts for bills. Will collect on NSF checks for
amount of check + band fee charged to us for NSF checks.

This is
the person with primary responsibility for collecting and depositing funds into
the booster organization’s account. Will pick up money from band room drop box
at least weekly and make deposit. Also keeps records of monies credited to
individual student accounts.
