The fees for musicians in the Red Regiment for 2009-2010 school year will be $175 and the fees for dancers and color guard members will be $200. For those joining after 1 August 2009 the fees will be $175 (musicians) and $200 (dancers). The dancers and color guard members pay more because their uniforms have to be purchased and they will keep their uniforms. These fees cover the operating expenses of the marching band including: staff salaries, uniforms, uniform cleaning, travel expenses, music, shirts, recruiting, etc. A specific budget for the band will be presented at the band booster meeting in July. All marching bands in Cobb are self-funded. Other band’s fees in Cobb range from $200 to $2000.
Fees need to be paid according to the schedule below. Any student who does not keep up with the fee schedule will not be allowed to participate in band activities such as summer rehearsals and football games.
April 30 - $50 Deposit (Dancers and Color Guard $75)
May 31 - $50
June 30 - $50
July 31 – $25
Total - $175 (Dancers and Color Guard $200)
Please note that $25 will be added to accounts not paid in full by August 1, 2009.
All fee payments are to be made out to “Osborne Band Boosters”. The preferred method of payment is a money order, however checks and cash will be accepted. There will be a $10 fee added to your account for any bounced checks. Payments can be placed in the payment box outside of the band director’s office or mailed to the band boosters at:
Osborne Band Boosters
