SGA current information

Hey SGA,

We are on some downtime for our activities right now. We have our Valentine fundraiser coming up next week so the Valentine committee needs to meet tomorrow to plan that but the rest of the SGA does not need to meet at this point.

Now if you are planning on helping with sales and delivery... you are on the committee and should plan to be in the media center tomorrow after school to finalize things. Same for those on the appreciation committee, we need to take care of some details for next week and counselor appreciation.

Seniors need to decide when to meet to continue planning their events. Shirt design is done, spirit days are finalized but there is still the matter of deciding which days go where and what to do for the days. This week won't happen without your planning!

Juniors and Sophomores, your shirts are on the way. Keep an ear out for the announcement that they are here. If you guys want to do anything for your classes, get together and plan it.

Next up for SGA - Relay for Life right after Valentine sales. It was approved for participation at the meeting next week so we need to plan it.

Also, what about a leadership meeting day on Saturday February 11th from 9AM - 2PM? That would give us time to do some re-bonding and planning. Can people make it?

Lastly, we have been asked to help with basketball senior night this Saturday so if you can come out, your help at the presentation will be appreciated. Thanks and see the Valentine and Appreciation committee members tomorrow!

Polos

Polos will be $8 - men and womens sizes available. For large sizes cost will be more. Name and position can be added for $4 extra. Design will go on left chest area. Should it say "Osborne High" instead of just "Osborne"?

SGA second half of the 2011-2012 school year

Hello,

Here are some of the events we will either be participating in or deciding upon for the second half of our year. If the sophomores, juniors or freshmen want to come up with ideas for themselves let me know. These are just the things that I already know we will be looking at for this semester.

FYI: We will be taking photos either the week we return or the next week at a meeting.

• Leadership day (late January)
• Valentine Sales (February - MUST BEGIN PLANNING NOW!)
• Soccer Tailgating Party (February- MUST BEGIN PLANNING NOW!)
• Resume/Interview Skills workshop
• Rent-A-Senior (tentative, early April?)
• Keep Cobb Beautiful (May)
• Relay for Life (April-May)
• Elections for next year (end of April - beginning of May)

Seniors

• Senior Week (spirit days, activities, give aways, cookout) (last week in March)
• Senior breakfast (May)
• Senior shirts (need designs, need to vote on designs, order shirts - need to have organized by mid-January) - only 1 design submitted so far
