We then presented the plays from Monday over fiscal policy

Tomorrow we will finish the notes on fiscal policy and go over the unit 5 questions in the workbook which are due (there are 30 questions in all)

AP Economics 10/27/09

We have been working on elasticity - today we went over income elasticity again and then cross price elasticity. Then practice questions were handed out to review these concepts.

Tomorrow we will look at Tax incidence and deadweight loss

Economics Class 10/27/09

Today we went over what happens when you put Aggregate Demand and Supply together - practice worksheet. We also took a quick quiz for review. 1st block classes took the quiz over GDP and 2nd block classes took the quiz over unemployment.

We will continue with the quizzes the rest of this week.

Tomorrow we will begin with the Federal Reserve.

Economics Daily 9-30-09

Today we are pretty much finished with Market Structures. Tomorrow there will be a quiz over price controls and the next Wednesday will be the final assessment for this unit.

Be sure to pick up the review sheets for this unit and by Friday get the practice questions.

AP Economics Daily 9/28/09

7th period: Worked on the marginal utility practice. This will not be for a grade, we will have another assignment over it that will be for a grade

8th period: Took the Supply and Demand quiz and got the marginal utility practice.

Today we finished price ceilings and floors. There will be a quiz over this in the next couple days...

We also began the new unit on Market Structures, we will finish tomorrow.

We will be finished with the unit by the end of the week, so we will be having a test over that next week.

AP Economics 9-15-09

Began Unit 2: Function and Nature of Product Markets (Chapter 3 to begin)

We discussed demand - how graphs are formed, how to shift along a curve, and how prices affect the curves.

Today we continued work on Supply - building graphs, learning how to move up and down along the curve and beginning to go over the determinants of supply that cause the entire graph to change.
